There are many ways to get involved as a volunteer at the market…

Some volunteers help occasionally or during their favourite season while other volunteers join us every Saturday. We are very flexible. We love tracking hours for our young volunteers and writing reference letters at the end of each season.

What do market volunteers do?

Love people? Volunteer by directing customers to their favourite vendors, handing out samples from our Chef demos, serving customers when a vendor needs a break. We’ll show you how to do it all!

• Love kids? Volunteer at the Kids’ Booth!
• Like working behind the scenes? Volunteer for set-up and take down!
• Looking for a community placement? We take on related student-placements.

Become A Sponsor

Become a neighbourhood hero by contributing as a sponsor. All sponsorship funds received support the development, costs and promotion of the farmers’ market including: live music, children’s games and arts activities, Chef demos, yoga/exercise classes, gardening and horticulture workshops, crochet basics, wild edibles, flower arranging, and so on.

In turn, the Cobourg Farmers Market will create a vibrant and active Community Hub for the Town of Cobourg where our message of community support with the help of our sponsors will be spread through our vital and active social media campaigns.
